What is learning like in Pre-K & Kindergarten?
In Preschool & Kindergarten, the joy of learning is rooted in the process of discovery and play. It is our purpose to attend to each child’s spiritual, mental, physical, social and emotional well being. What subjects will my child study in elementary grades? (1-4)
Curriculum includes: language arts, mathematics, science, social studies & Bible. We believe that children learn best when they’re actively engaged & enjoying themselves. Enrichment activities include art, computer literacy, library, music, physical education and service projectsStudents complete class work at an individual pace within a teacher-supervised and closely monitored schedule. Learning is group-oriented and teacher-directed, with emphasis on teamwork and personal responsibility. You can learn more HERE.
What subjects will my child study in middle grades? (5-8)
The core subjects in the middle school program include Religion, English, Math, Science and Social Studies Experiential units with thematic group projects keep the classroom environment dynamic and creative. Courses are enriched with local field trips and school-wide fairs. Students also learn key financial skills through a Personal Finance program as well as learning how to be good stewards of the land through the newly developed garden/agricultural program.
